A new feature has been brought to Facebook Messenger. But according to TechCrunch , the feature is not that new.
TechCrunch reported about the app's "new" feature after also reporting that said feature existed and was used by it's creator, Mark Zuckerberg. Facebook gave TechCrunch the following statement in April of 2018, after being questioned about why it hasn't been rolled out to the public: “ We have discussed this feature several times . . . We will now be making a broader delete message feature available. This may take some time. And until this feature is ready, we will no longer be deleting any executives’ messages. We should have done this sooner — and we’re sorry that we did not.”
The social media messaging app now allows you to unsend messages. However, the user must delete their message within 10 minutes of pressing send. To delete a message, the sender can now tap on the bubble and find a button that will "Remove for everyone".
