The move comes after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced his social media platform would no longer run political advertisement all together. The Twitter ban went into place this month.Dorsey tweeted the news, saying that political ads can influence votes that affect the lives of millions.

He wrote that unchecked misleading information and deep fakes are increasing in sophistication on an overwhelming scale.The announcement comes soon after rival Facebook has faced criticism for running political ads with false information.
