ROCKVILLE, MD -- Author Eileen Doyon teamed up with Christy Garnder, a veteran and service dog trainer, after hearing Christy's incredible story about her newest puppy Lucky.
Lucky, a disabled golden retriever, was adopted by Christy and trained to be a service dog for injured service members. Inspired by their story, Doyon connected with Gardner and wrote Lucky, Little Guy...Big Mission.
For Eileen’s part, 50% of the profits from book sales are going to Christy to support her in the mission of training more puppies to live the enriching and rewarding life of being a service / therapy dog.
