Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine can significantly reduce transmission

(New York, NY) -- A new study finds that Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine can prevent asymptomatic infection, which can significantly reduce transmission. Israel is leading the world in its vaccination rollout, with around 55-percent of its nine-million population receiving at least one dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Analysis of data from Israel shows the vaccine was 97-percent effective in preventing severe disease and death. Researchers also found there is real-world evidence of the vaccine's effectiveness against the U.K. variant.
