Myopia Awareness In Children

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Dr. Gary Gerber from Treehouse Eyes. Dr. Gerber co-founded Treehouse Eyes to help slowdown the epidemic of Myopia in Children. Myopia is a disease where the eye is too big from front to back. This is alarmingly common in children. In the United States, about 30% of children are already myopic. That's fifteen million plus children, and the number is only increasing. Dr. Gerber talks more about the disease, it's symptoms, treatment, and prevention. Listen to the full interview below.
