Commanders RB Brian Robinson Shot in Attempted Carjacking

Law enforcement has shared with NBC4 that Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. was shot several times on Sunday night in an attempted carjacking. Thankfully his injuries are being reported as non-life threatening and ESPN has reported that he is in stable condition.

The news station has reported that the suspects were trying to steal his Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.

The shooting happened in Northeast Washington on the 1000 block of H Street.

Robinson Jr. is a rookie who was drafted in third round of this year's draft from Alabama.
