Results with Every Step

Are you ready? When you join the Heart Walk, you make a difference from day one.

Save Lives

You help fund lifesaving science. Science that can create an artificial heart valve. Prevent a stroke. Put scientific advances into doctors’ hands. Correct heart defects in newborn babies. And someday, find a cure for high blood pressure. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and healthier.

Be Healthy For Good

You learn how to live healthier with proven, science-based tips and information on how to eat smart, add color, move more and be well. And you get to be a trailblazer in our Healthy For Good movement.

One Million Strong

You join more than a million Heart Walk Heroes in more than 300 locations across the country, funding the kind of breakthrough science that saves lives every day. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?

Just a Few Simple Steps

  • Find the Heart Walk near you and register online.
  • Set a goal and personalize your fundraising page to make it easy for your friends and family to donate.
  • Raise money to support lifesaving research and programs.
  • Make a personal contribution.
  • Walk your heart out.
  • Save lives.

Told you it was simple! So, let’s go.

Find Your Heart Walk

Did you know that cardiovascular disease occurs every 39 seconds and is the No. 1 killer of all Americans? Heart disease also kills more women than all forms of cancer combined. And congenital cardiovascular defects are the most common cause of infant death from birth defects. When you join Heart Walk, you join more than a million people in 300+ cities across America in taking a stand against heart disease and helping save lives!

Find your local Heart Walk and join your company team, start a team of your own, or join as an individual - whatever you choose, you can make a difference in people’s lives including your own!

The funds you raise will support projects like:

  • Up-to-the-minute research into doctors’ hands so they can better prevent and treat heart disease among patients.
  • Groundbreaking pediatric heart and stroke research that is key to saving babies’ lives. Providing life-saving information that can save a life – like how to eat better, how to recognize the warning signs of heart attack, and how to talk to a doctor about critical health choices.

Are You a Survivor?

Or a caregiver for a survivor? A survivor is anyone who has survived a stroke or any form of heart disease, like heart attack, cardiac arrest, heart failure, an irregular heartbeat, heart valve problems or congenital heart defects. Survivors of all ages play a special role in the Heart Walk.

The Heart Walk Is For You

Nothing is more powerful than a story from the heart. Stories of survival make the facts and figures on heart disease and stroke come to life. One single story can inspire, teach and provide hope for millions of others affected by heart disease and stroke.

When you get involved in the Heart Walk, you can help fund scientific advances to prevent and treat heart disease and stroke. You can connect with other survivors like you. And you can share your story to inspire and help others.

How We Celebrate Survivors

Heart disease and stroke survivors are the heart of the Heart Walk. Wearing your commemorative red or white ball cap, you’ll be celebrated along with other survivors.

You can make a difference.
