Bidens Push Massive Infrastructure Proposal, Including School Upgrades

(Norfolk, VA) -- The President and First Lady Jill Biden are pitching the massive infrastructure program, which includes upgrading schools. Speaking at a community college in Norfolk, Virginia, the President said the U.S. needs to make an aggressive investment in families. He called it an investment in the future. He said parents need help with child care, calling the costs extraordinary. Biden insisted two years of community college should be free. The First Lady is a veteran teacher and she said community college graduates bring needed skills to the workforce.

The President's American Jobs Plan and the follow-up American Families Plan covers more than four-trillion dollars in new federal spending. Biden said the nation's wealthiest people and corporations should pick up the costs by paying their fair share of taxes. He stressed that anyone making 400-thousand dollars a year-or-less will not see tax hikes and said his plans will actually grow the economy.
